Download link: Episode 39 Something a Bit Different
You’ll hopefully know by now that I am taking part in the Third Annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week. This bonus podcast episode is my day 5 post. It’s ‘a bit different’ for a number of reasons, but you’ll have to listen to the show to find out why. As well as some chat about blog week, I’ll also feature some audio recorded during my recent visit to London to see the lovely Kate (aka Kate’s Twirl). I should warn listeners in advance that there is a lot of swooning over yarn and a fair bit of giggling! In an attempt to be serious, I will also try and comment on Guernsey’s recent election. I hope you enjoy this bonus episode and I will aim to get another online at the beginning of May. Oooh, before I forget, if you’d like to check out other bloggers’ posts about this topic, Google the code 3KCBWDAY5.

I’d like to thank our fabulous show sponsor, Great British Yarns.

I really enjoyed listening to my first iMake podcast. I will definitely try to listen to more.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you having a listen
I’m looking forward to this – the line up looks great. I’m going to curl up with my knitting and have a listen once the kids are in bed
Great! Thanks Libby. I hope you enjoy
I always enjoy your podcasts. It’s raining here, so I think I’ll curl up with my knitting, a cup of tea, and your podcast.
Lovely! I hope you enjoy
It’s not in the usual format but it should make you smile (I hope)
Martine
I love your podcast. I’ll listen to this new one next week. I am home from a trip to Phoenix with my knitting friends and feel that I should spent the weekend with hubby, so next week for the podcast.
I’m looking forward to it.
Ceci
Thanks Ceci – I hope you enjoy it. Your trip sounds fun
I’m posting again, because I wanted to use this blog, not the other one. yeah, I can barely keep up with one, but I have two. They really don’t overlap, though. I just finished a hitchhiker scarf on my Phoenix trip and started another one. It is a fun, travel knit.
That was good fun, Martine. I could almost feel your excitement after your TWO visits to Loop. You lucky girl. I sent my niece there last November to choose some wool for a Vitamin D I made her and even she (non-knitter!) said it was a lovely shop. One day. I hope to go there too.
Hee hee thanks Jenny. Vitamin D is a lovely pattern – buying yarn for a knitted item has got to be exciting, even for non-knitters! Glad you enjoyed the show
I enjoy your ‘cast so much! Please tell more about the reusable decorative tape…we’re visiting our son in Belfast this summer and I want to get some as little knitterfriend gifts (and for me of course). We use post it notes for chart place keeping, but I’m hoping this is stickier/longer lasting.
Hi Joanna
Thank you! I am so pleased you like the show
Check out this website – just found it. Washi tape heaven…. http://www.washitapes.co.uk/
Martine
Just listened to this one today. (I always run behind.). Enjoyed it so much because you two obviously had such a good time. What fun!
Thanks Sonja! We always have a giggle recording the show
