I have popped a few new patterns in my Ravelry queue recently (mostly shawls) so I thought it would be fun to share them here on the blog. If you click the links below you’ll be taken to the Ravelry page for each pattern. Enjoy (and consider yourself enabled)…
- Guernsey Triangle by Brooklyn Tweed – a lovely textured triangular shawl inspired by the guernsey fishermen’s jumper, knitted in fingering/4 ply yarn. Note that this pattern is currently part of an exclusive club and will not be available until early in 2013. I can wait… I have a long queue!
- Guernsey Wrap by Brooklyn Tweed – the wrap version of the above. This is the older pattern, it inspired the triangular shawl. It’s knitted in worsted weight yarn and looks just lovely. It’s $5.50 USD.
- Marin by Ysolda Teague - a lovely, reversible shawl with long points, it’s a simple stitch pattern (mostly garter) and it features a few nice cables that create a large, almost scalloped, edge. This shawl is knitted end-to-end so not your usual construction for a shawl. £3.75 GBP.
- Drifting by Cecily Glowik MacDonald – this is a very simple, stockinette cardigan that has short sleeves and hangs open. I plan to make the sleeves a little longer, but I really like the look of this for summer and I have 2 skeins of Wollmeise that would be perfect for it! $6.00 USD.

What a great post! Thankyou for sharing
Thanks Ellie
Lovely patterns, aren’t they?
