Hubby and I got on the bike yesterday and cycled down to the lovely Rousse Kiosk in Guernsey, where we had ice lollies with Kate and Charles (friends of the iMake podcast). As I am stoming through Berry Wrap for the Ravellenic Games, I thought I’d put a few more rows on my sock while we were at Rousse. It’s also a more portable project. I was quite chuffed with the photograph above – the knitting is sharp and the background blurred. Depth of field on an iPhone camera! Whatever next!?
Here are a few more iPhone photos from the past week or so that I wanted to share.
I am getting a few strawberries in the garden now…
As well as the occasional frog…
My cute ginger cat Mia, has decided that this cushion belongs to her now…
And finally, a blast from the past… (the grown up way to eat popping candy is to combine it with Prosecco, or so I learned at a recent dinner with friends!)

I love your top photograph with your iphone. I am starting to feel like a dinosaur though without an iphone. I love my ipad though so I really don’t need both except for the camera. The photograph reminds me of where I live in New Jersey (USA).
Thanks Sarah! I must admit, I was really chuffed with it (and a little surprised). I was quite a late adopted of the iPhone, but now I really cannot remember life before it! They really are marvellous. I find myself using my DSLR camera less and less…. oops!
Your photos are wonderful…hard to believe they come from a cell phone! It’s amazing how technology keeps advancing!!
Thanks KnitNurd. The camera on the iPhone is amazing now – it’s stopping me from using my proper camera. You can capture really spontaneous moments. Thanks for your comment
you must have a 4… my 3GS does NOT take lovely photos like that.
I think I do… hee hee… I am not sounding very techie, am I?? There are some fab photography apps that really make my pics look much nicer than they are. Camera+ and Instagram are the ones I use the most. Thanks for your comment, and again, sorry for the delay!
