In preparation for the next podcast episode, which I hope to record before the week is out, I thought I’d share just a few more iPhone photos from my recent trip to London and Brighton.
As usual, when I visit Kate in London, a lot of knitting was done. I finished a pair of vanilla socks…
We also got into the Olympic spirit in St Pancras train station…
We admired The Meeting Place by Paul Day. Stunning…
Kate’s cat was as cute as ever…
Then onto Brighton with hubby. There was knitting and wine, of course…
We stayed at Hotel Una, which was lovely…
On the first day, we hopped on the big wheel…
Other highlights included a trip to the Painting Pottery Cafe. I painted a trinket box below (not fired yet, I am waiting for them to post it to me once it has been fired)…
Another highlight was dinner at Terre a Terre, my favourite vegetarian restaurant (and I am not vegetarian!)
Terre a Terre had a hilarious Olympic menu. I am not sure if you can make it out in the photo below, but the names of the dishes were great… Zola Spud and Tom Dately were my favourites…
So all in all, a good time was had!

It looks like you had a lovely, relaxing vacation!
Hi Beth
Yes I really did, it was fab
Martine
Ooooh… I *am* vegetarian, so will definitely be looking up that restaurant if I’m ever in Brighton!
You must Rhian. It’s almost worth a visit just for the restaurant! Check out their menus… http://www.terreaterre.co.uk/
LOVE the last photo!! I’ve not been to Brighton, but have been to Weymouth…and had a brilliant time!!!
Awww thanks
Brighton is very cool and hip, but cute and seasidey at the same time. I love it
