It’s time for a little more font love. I am researching fonts at the moment for a little blog “restyle”, so this is the perfect excuse for some free font shopping.
I have broken with tradition today by showcasing just one font designer. Kimberly Geswein’s fonts are just lovely. Check out her website at kimberlygeswein.com. Most of Kimberly’s fonts have a creative, hand-written feel and some are quite feminine and whimsical. Featured above are 10 of my favourites, including “KG How Many Times” which has been featured before, but it’s this font that really got me into Kimberly’s work.
All of Kimberly’s fonts are free for personal use, however if you are a small business wanting to use a font commercially, you need to pay a licence fee (which is extremely cheap at just $5 per user, per font). To be honest, I encourage personal-use only users to make a donation of this amount regardless, just to say thank you.
I hope you enjoy Kimberly’s fonts as much as I do. Click on the image above to view a bigger version. Here are links to the fonts on DaFont (all free): 1. KG Lego House, 2. Covered By Your Grace, 3. KG Begin Again, 4. KG Makes You Stronger, 5. KG Always a Good Time, 6. Follow You Into The World, 7. Today I Feel, 8.KG How Many Times, 9. KG Skinny Latte and 10. Kiss Me Slowly.
You can download all of Kimberly’s fonts here, on her website: All KG Fonts. You can find a catalogue of all KG fonts here: KG Font Catalogue.
PS: If you’ve never installed a font on your computer before, it’s worth doing; it’s very straightforward. Check out my screencast demonstrating the process on Mac. Just click the link below (the post also contains a link to written instructions on how to install fonts on a PC).

Hey pretty awsome tip, I really like no 9. Thank you so much for the tip, I’m working on “glitter up my blog” so, that’s just great:-)
Brill – happy to help – I like that one too
I love a little blog “restyle”. In fact, am hoping for one myself soon…. You are a good font finder
Now, the fabric for my top – it is indeed a double layer – gorgeous. It isn’t obvious until you cut it because it’s not thick. But it is so lovely – Nani Iro from The Village Haberdashery online. There’s a range of Nani Iro – not cheap but they all look stunning.
By the way – I just bought some cotton stretch from your ebay suggestion and it is lovely quality. Get ready to see more t-shirts
Hi Libby – yes restyling is fun. Mine will be subtle and gradual. I just want to simplify a bit. I don’t think I will change templates or anything drastic. But simplicity is important for me
Ooooh thanks for the fabric hints. I am glad the eBay seller worked out well – I was pleased with them. I have a pile of fabric that has been waiting to turn into something for a few weeks now. I think this weekend might be the time to make it all happen! I am LOVING your handmade outfits – keep em coming!
